Tim Keller sermons via Gospel in Life: The only way to understand God’s plans for us is to see Christ truly and trust him fully. Gods plans for us are not abandoned to fate; our choices matter, and once we have committed entirely to His will, we can receive his guidance humbly and boldly.

  • Definitely! You have to hear them over and over again to get all the godly wisdom out of them! I will never stop listening to his Freedom of Self Forgetfulness. And I'm going to start right now reading Proverbs (which I have been reading everyday for the past 3 months) like it's "hard candy"

  • This sermon changed my entire life. I’m forever grateful to you sir, Rev. Keller.

  • Thank you dr Timothy. It was a mountain top experience where I spend the whole day in conversation with Father whilst meditating on scripture and listening to your sermon. To understand that I have to make decisions according to His will.To commit and trust Jesus to guide me through the Holy Spirit.Your brother in Christ.

  • I love how the sermons are taking straight from scripture and not anecdotes like "other pastors"

  • Please record all the Proverbs and put it on mp3, I’d much rather hear it in this ladies voice.

  • I love his sermons, most of them give me the chance to say, "Of course …, and don't call me Shirley".

  • This pastor stirs my affections for Jesus and especially the treasure that is the Word of God

  • Can I just say that this is the most powerful, amazing, sermon !
I thank God for you Tim Keller.
What a gift you have of teaching Gods word !!

  • What a powerful message! amazing… there is a spiritual battle going on Christians and it’s real. Stay prayed up. In our Lord and King Christ Jesus

  • This is one the most ridiculous, brain washing, hypocritical way to listen and live your life. Millions of people getting brain washed by this crazy scripts. Man made, injected, and controlled by the government and its system.

  • What was that thing in the old testament that he talked about? The one that would tell the Israelites God's answers ?

  • Wonderful

  • Some of his sermons are inspiring..but some tend to be overly intellectual. I prefer messages that are simple and to the point.

  • Who is the poet quoted at the end?

I was strategic and thoughtful and planned….still failed….so mad at God

  • So much wisdom here

  • 39:36

  • I love how he kind of sounds like Jeff Goldblum.

  • I like the your teaching on making your own plans and then committing your ways to the Lord. By God's grace I can put this into practice. Sorry, Cowper did eventually committ suicide. Any thoughts on this pls?

  • At the end of the day you're another day older
And that's all you can say for the life of the poor
    It's a struggle, it's a war
And there's nothing that anyone's giving
One more day standing about, what is it for?
One day less to be living.
At the end of the day you're another day colder
And the shirt on your back doesn't keep out the chill
    And the righteous hurry past
They don't hear the little ones crying
And the plague is coming on fast, ready to kill
    One day nearer to dying!
At the end of the day there's another day dawning
And the sun in the morning is waiting to rise
Like the waves crash on the sand
Like a storm that'll break any second
There's a hunger in the land
There's a reckoning still to be reckoned and
There's gonna be hell to pay
At the end of the day!

Did God plan all the wrong choices that I made and also my losses? Not sure His involvement, but I lost all my investments and my plans for a greater life free from 9-5 rat race. I failed and now I am depressed. Did God plan/ordain everything? Good n bad?

  • Does anyone know if I can get this sermon script?

  • In a nutshell: God helps those that help themselves. That popular aphorism is not a scripture, but is a distillation of this helpful sermon. You have to make the best choices possible in your limited wisdom, and trust God to work it out according to His plan.
